Georgie Boyce has been loaned to Yorkshire for the opening block of the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

Batter Boyce will represent the Headingley outfit on temporary terms until mid-May, and is in line for her debut in the White Rose’s match away to Surrey on Wednesday, 15 April.

She will not, however, represent Yorkshire in their fixture against The Blaze at Headingley on Saturday, 18 April.

Boyce will be eligible for up to six One Day Cup games, and will return to The Blaze for the start of the Vitality Blast, which kicks off with a Trent Bridge double-header on Friday 22 May.

“We know throughout the upcoming season, we’re going to be calling on our full squad, and especially with it being a busy World Cup year,” said Director of Cricket, James Cutt.

“We feel this is the best way for Georgie to start the season in a positive fashion and get some cricket ahead of hopefully coming back to enjoy a successful season with us.”

The Nottingham-born 27-year-old previously represented Yorkshire on a Vitality Blast loan in 2025 while the White Rose were in tier two, making ten appearances and scoring 288 runs.

Since making her List A debut for Nottinghamshire in 2014, aged just 15, Boyce has a total of 80 appearances in the format, and has scored over 1,700 runs.

“We’re wishing her all the best during her time at Headingley, and we’ll be following closely before the time comes to welcome her back into our group next month,” added Cutt.
