Joe Pocklington added a first-innings 79 to his five wickets as Nottinghamshire Second XI secured a draw against Hampshire at Utilita Bowl.
Pocklington’s half-century at number five was Notts’ high score, with Farhan Ahmed contributing 48, as the visitors were dismissed for 253 in reply to Hampshire’s 312.
Hampshire went on to reach 314/1dec in their second innings, with Ahmed removing Fletcha Middleton for Notts’ sole wicket of the innings.
Travis Holland’s 49 would be the key contribution in the Green and Golds’ second innings, as Notts reached 171/6 before bad light brought a slightly premature end to the fixture.
